Born and raised in the Caribbean until the age of 15. Manu Loca is a London and Paris based multidisciplinary artist working in art direction, movement, creative consultancy and research. Her path has taken her across film, music and fashion, where she has built an impressive body of work spanning editorial projects, commercial campaigns and exhibitions. Manu has collaborated with houses such as Louis Vuitton, Timberland, Hermès and has worked alongside cultural icons including Rihanna, Pharrell Williams and many more. What defines her practice is a unique eye and a sensitivity to human emotion, body language and everyday gestures. With a background in Political Science and Curation, she often gravitates toward questions of identity, culture and vulnerability — creating stories that sit at the crossroads of the social, the political and the artistic.
